Can I place an order over the phone instead of online?

Do your sofrim have certifications from recognized halachic authorities?
Yes. Every sofer is certified by a local rav and tested specifically on the halachos of safrus by sofrim authorized by respected rabbanim. Additionally, many are certified under the auspices of Mishmeres Stam and/or the Eidah Hachareidis.

Do your mezuzahs come with cases, or are they sold separately?
Mezuzah scrolls are sold on their own, and cases are available separately. We offer a variety of mezuzah cases you can easily add to your order.

Can I get my existing tefillin or mezuzahs checked through Scribe Tribe?

How does pricing for tefillin and mezuzahs work?
Each item starts with a base price. As you customize your tefillin or mezuzahs, certain options may increase the total cost. Any added charges are clearly marked, so you’ll always know what affects the price.
Will I see the full price before completing my order?
Yes. You will see the total price before making a purchase, with no hidden fees.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards and PayPal.

How much does shipping cost?
- Orders over $100 ship free within the U.S.
- International shipping costs $25.
- Import taxes and customs fees vary by country and, if applicable, are the buyer’s responsibility at delivery.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Orders of custom items typically take 1–4 weeks to process, depending on the product. Commonly stocked items (standard tefillin configurations, mezuzah scrolls, ready-to-ship products) typically process in 1-3 business days.
Shipping times vary based on the carrier (UPS, FedEx).
What if I need my order sooner?
Reach out by phone or by email — we’ll try to accommodate you as best we can.
Can I track my shipment?
Yes, tracking information will be provided with your order.
How do you ensure tefillin and mezuzahs are protected during shipping?
We use specialized packaging to keep everything secure and offer insurance to protect against loss or damage.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Yes — we accept returns on commonly ordered items, like standard pairs of tefillin, as long as they’re returned in original condition. Return requests must be made within 30 days of delivery.
For less common configurations or personalized orders, returns may still be possible, but a 20% charge will apply.
If the issue is due to an error on our part, the 30-day limit doesn’t apply. We’ll make sure it’s taken care of no matter when you reach out.
What is your warranty policy?
If an issue arises due to our error, we take full responsibility. Contact us to arrange a refund or exchange, and we’ll guide you through returning your item.
